Your existing CV

Everyone should have a CV that may have been created by themselves or by a service provider. This generic CV, should get updated every time there is a change in qualifications, skills, job, career status. This is the base to start from when applying for a new job. Then it has to be customized.

The job advertisement

When applying for a job it's fundamental to clearly read and understand the job advertisement, which can be more or less accurate. Next step is checking for the specific key words, which describe the main characteristics of that job. These key words have to be identified.

Our customized AI tool

CVTUNED makes use of a tailored AI tool to analyze the existing CV and job description, identifying the key words and preparing the improved CV draft with ATS compatible format. ATS or Applicant Tracking System is a recruiting software used by recruiters to manage the entire hiring process digitally, including CV screening and parsing. As applications roll in, the ATS scans them. Its "parsing engine" extracts specific data, which are actually the key words present in the job ad (skills, experience, and education). It then scores and ranks candidates based on how well their profiles match the job description.

Human review and creation of deliverables

The entire process is managed or supervised by a human. When you place the order, a human receives your CV and the job ad, performs a first analysis, engages the AI tool for deep analysis, reviews the result, creates the final version of your CV and emails it to you. This is what separates us from the rest of the crowd: our service is based on Human and Machine interaction and cooperation, not relying only on the Machine. That's why our service delivery time is up to 48 hours and not just some minutes.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION & PRICING

What information do we need in order to serve you?
Our service consists in collecting the necessary information from you through a specific form, to which you will get automatically directed when you press the button "Order Now at SGD 90.00". This information contains your name, existing CV, which you will have to upload, the job ad which you will copy and paste inside the form, the acceptance of our terms and conditions.
How do you pay us?
At the end of the form you find the payment section, managed by Stripe, so it's simple, safe and secure.
What is included in the price?
In the price, set at 90.00 SGD, we include the review and improvement of one CV related to one specific job ad.
What value do you get from us?
The deliverable will be a new and improved CV which will be emailed to you in two format files, DOCX (word) and PDF.
How long will it take for you to get your new and improved CV?
The maximum processing time of one request is 48 hours from the time of order confirmation. You may receive during the 48 hours one email from our staff requesting additional information which may be needed for the specific job requirements, such as dates, places, projects, initiatives, events which you managed or you participated to and which were not part of the CV you have uploaded. The service is considered finished when the email containing the improved CV in DOCX and PDF format files is sent to your email address, the email you indicated during the order phase.
How is the information you share with us going to be handled?
All your personal information will be handled by CVTUNED only for the specific purpose and will not be shared with other entities except the ones used in our processes.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data CVTUNED collects, how it's used, who it's shared with, and your rights under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

1. What data we collect
When you submit an order, we collect:
• Your full name
• Your email address
• The contents of your CV (uploaded file)
• The job description you submit
• Your target role and any notes you provide
• Payment information (handled by Stripe — see Section 4)
• Your IP address and basic browser/device data (collected automatically by our form provider, Tally, for spam prevention)
We do not collect any data you don't actively provide. We don't use tracking cookies beyond what's necessary for the form to function.

2. Why we collect it (purpose)
We use this data only to:
• Deliver the CV review service you ordered
• Communicate with you about your order (confirmation, delivery, revisions)
• Process your payment
• Maintain basic records for accounting and tax purposes
• Respond to support inquiries you may make
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering your order, unless you give us separate explicit consent.

3. Legal basis (PDPA)
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you provide by ticking the consent checkbox on the order form and submitting the form. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 8).

4. Who we share data with (third parties)
To deliver the service, your data passes through a small number of trusted service providers. Each is bound by their own data protection commitments:
• Tally (tally.so) — stores your form submission and uploaded CV file. Tally is a Belgium-based company; data is stored in the European Union under GDPR-compliant infrastructure.
• Stripe (stripe.com) — processes your card payment. Stripe is a US-headquartered company that operates globally under PCI-DSS Level 1 security standards. We do not see or store your full card number — Stripe handles all sensitive payment data directly.
• AI tools — we make use of customized AI tools to help analyze, draft and refine portions of your improved CV. These are based on Chat GPT and Claude combined. The initial review, processing parts, final output review and approval are done by a human before delivery.
• Cloudflare (which is the cvtuned.com domain host) and Carrd (which hosts the cvtuned.com website)
• Email providers — we use standard email infrastructure to send and receive correspondence about your order.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, recruiters, employers, or any party not listed above.

5. Where data is stored
• Form submissions and CV files: Tally servers in the European Union
• Payment records: Stripe servers, primarily United States
• Email correspondence: standard email server infrastructure
• Working files during review: one personal computer and one portable hard drive for backup, located in Singapore
By using this service, you consent to your data being processed in and transferred to these locations, including jurisdictions outside Singapore. All providers listed apply industry-standard security measures.

6. How long we keep data
• Order records (name, email, basic transaction info): retained for 5 years for accounting and tax purposes, as required by Singapore tax law.
• Your CV file and the job description you submitted: deleted within 30 days after we deliver your improved CV.
• Payment records: retained by Stripe according to their retention policy (we don't control this).
• Email correspondence: retained for up to 1 year, then archived or deleted.
If you want us to delete your data earlier than these defaults (where legally possible), email us at [email protected].

7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data:
• Form data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1)
• Working files are stored on two password-protected devices with disk encryption (one computer and one portable hard drive for backup)
• We do not share working files via insecure channels (e.g., unsecured email attachments to third parties)
That said, no system is perfectly secure. By using the service, you accept the residual risk inherent to digital communication.

8. Your rights under PDPA
As an individual whose personal data we hold, you have the right to:
• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct — ask us to fix any data that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Withdraw consent — at any time, by emailing us. Note that withdrawing consent before delivery may make it impossible for us to complete your order; in that case we will refund unused portions of your fee in line with our Refund Policy.
• Request deletion — ask us to delete the data we hold, subject to our legal obligations (e.g., we cannot delete records we're required to keep for tax purposes)
• Lodge a complaint — if you believe we've mishandled your data, you can contact us first, and if unresolved, escalate to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.

9. Children
This service is intended for adults applying for jobs. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our service, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves or as regulations change. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Refund Policy

This policy explains when CVTUNED issues refunds and when it doesn't. We aim to be fair: full refund where the situation warrants it, free revisions where appropriate, and a clear "no" where a refund isn't justified. By placing an order you agree to this policy.

1. What you're paying for
CVTUNED sells professional effort: a tailored CV rewrite based on your existing CV and a specific job advertisement, delivered within 48 hours of payment. You are paying for the work — the analysis, rewriting, and delivery — not for any specific outcome of your job application.
A tailored CV materially improves your chances of being shortlisted, but the final hiring decision depends on many factors outside our control: the role's competitiveness, the employer's selection process, market conditions, your interview performance, your references, and the other candidates. We do not promise, and never have promised, that you will be interviewed, shortlisted, or hired.
2. When we issue a full refund
We refund in full in these situations:
a. Before work has started.
If you change your mind shortly after ordering and email us before we've begun the review, we'll refund you in full. As a guide, we typically begin after 15 minutes after receiving an order, so the sooner you contact us, the cleaner this is.
b. If we cannot meet our 48-hour turnaround.
Life happens. If we know we cannot deliver in time and you would rather have your money back than wait, we'll refund in full.
c. If we determine we're not the right service for you.
After receiving your materials, we may conclude that your situation falls outside what we can help with effectively (for example, a highly specialized field or a service we don't offer). In that case we will return your files unmodified and refund in full.
d. Technical issues.
Duplicate payments, payments where the file upload failed, or any payment processing error on our side will be fully refunded.
e. Material errors on our end.
If we deliver the wrong CV content, send a corrupted file, or make a major error attributable to us, we will redo the work at no charge or refund in full — your choice.
3. When we issue free revisions instead of refunds
If you've received your improved CV and something specific is missing or not in line with the job ad, a missed skill or project related to the job ad— reply to the delivery email within 3 days with specific feedback. We'll revise once at no charge, typically within 24 hours.
Revisions are intended to refine the delivered work, not to commission a fundamentally different rewrite. If you want the CV adapted to a different job advertisement, that is a new order.
4. When we do not issue refunds
To set expectations clearly upfront, we do not refund for the following:
a. Not being shortlisted, interviewed, or hired.
Hiring outcomes depend on many factors beyond your CV. We sell a tailored CV; we deliver a tailored CV. The outcome of your application is not within our control or guarantee.
b. Subjective preferences after delivery.
If the writing is professionally competent and tailored to the job advertisement you provided, differences of taste are addressed through revisions (see Section 3), not refunds.
c. ATS or third-party system behavior.
We format CVs to be ATS-compatible using standard best practices, but the behavior of specific employer Applicant Tracking Systems is outside our control and varies by employer.
d. Wanting to use the CV for a different role after delivery.
Each rewrite is tailored to one specific job advertisement provided at the time of order. Re-tailoring for a different role is a new order.
e. Buyer's remorse after delivery.
Once we have delivered the reviewed CV, the work is complete and the fee is non-refundable.
Requests received after the 3-day revision window has closed.
5. How to request a refund or revision
Reply to your order confirmation email (or email us directly at [email protected]) with:
a. Your name and order date
Whether you are requesting a refund or a revision
b. A brief explanation of the reason
We respond within 24 hours on working days. If a refund is approved, it is issued back to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Note: Payment processing fees charged by Stripe (typically a small percentage and a fixed component) are not refunded by Stripe to us. For refunds issued under Section 2, we absorb this cost. We mention this only for transparency, not as a barrier — the refund you receive is the full amount you paid.
6. Disputes and chargebacks
If you believe a refund is warranted and we have declined it, please contact us first to discuss. Most situations can be resolved through revisions or a partial accommodation.
Filing a chargeback with your bank before contacting us is strongly discouraged. Chargebacks impose costs on small businesses and can be filed in error. We will respond to legitimate chargebacks with the relevant order documentation. For disputes you believe are unresolved, you may contact the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) at case.org.sg.
7. Singapore consumer law
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under Singapore's Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 or the Sale of Goods Act 1979. Where this policy says we will or will not refund, those terms apply alongside (not instead of) your statutory rights.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Orders placed before a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of the order.
